Emma, I heard a similar story about a dear friend’s neighbour last year and it’s both enraging and utterly heartbreaking. I have been lucky with my hormone care, but I have so many friends continually being prescribed anti depressants and told they’re too young to need HRT (at 45!) it needs to change, it really needs to change

My experience, too. I'm caring full-time for my mother, who has dementia. The timing is like some sort of sick joke. The last few years have been horrendous, I have ADHD as well, which I'm told makes the menopause experience much worse. It certainly exacerbates the ADHD symptoms, that's for sure! This year started a lot calmer, no period for seven months! I thought, “thank heavens, finally!” Then BAM! Back it came, hormones running riot all over the place again! I'm not quite sure how I'm still holding on tbh.
